First Nations Wellbeing Hub

Lucas Heights Community School celebrated the opening of their First Nations Wellbeing Hub! 🖤💛❤️ The Hub will provide a wide array of health and wellbeing services for Aboriginal students.

The project was brought to life through collaboration with the school’s Aboriginal students, local Aboriginal Elder Aunty Dolly, the Sutherland Shire Council Reconciliation Committee and the Department of Education.

As we come together on this sacred land, we celebrate the grand opening of the Lucas Heights Community School’s First Nations Wellbeing Hub. We understand that there is a strong correlation between wellbeing and educational outcomes, as enhancing the wellbeing of our students directly contributes to their success in the classroom. We look forward to the brighter, healthier future that this wellbeing Hub promises to bring our community.
